WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
Our bodies love a good rhythm. Our sleep, cognition, digestion, metabolism, and even hormones are all on an interconnected rhythm. When we have erratic patterns, whether it be inconsistent meal timing, sleep schedules, diet and exercise regimens, etc, it can throw our body into a state of stress, causing our metabolism to fall out of whack. When our metabolism isn’t functioning properly, we become:
- Fatigued and lethargic
- Brain foggy
- Resistant to weight loss strategies
- Victim to our cravings
- Stressed and anxious
The organ in charge of regulating these rhythms is your liver – our most resilient organ. Due to its resilience, it doesn’t take long to drastically reset your liver health and therefore your metabolic health.
What to Expect?
During these 4 weeks, you will be challenged to commit to regimented eating, exercising, and sleeping. Since the liver is our focus, your diet will be a very clean, anti-inflammatory diet to not only reduce incoming toxins but also support the liver’s detox mechanisms. You will also consume your meals at relatively the same time every day to reinstate a pattern within your appetite and also energy metabolism – how you burn and store calories. You will be encouraged to establish a consistent sleep schedule to activate and normalize your body’s 24-hour circadian rhythm, which dictates hormone regulation and really has its hands in every process within the body. The final leg of this program is exercise, although it may not be what you think. To keep your fuel demand from getting too high and putting your body into a stressed out state (leading to more protein breakdown than fat), we keep exercise fairly light – just enough to maintain the muscle mass you already have, and kickstart a gentle “internal fire”. You’ll also receive weekly Slim Down shots (total of 4) to provide an extra boost of liver-supportive, metabolism-boosting nutrients.
You will consume two daily meal replacement shakes (breakfast and lunch), and one dinner meal. You’ll be provided medical-grade protein powder and TYM FitFiber (both included with the cost of the program) to put in your shakes, and recipes will be provided for both shakes and dinners.
A gentle 15-minute daily walk is encouraged, along with 10-15 minutes of bodyweight exercises 4-5 days a week.
It is strongly encouraged to shoot for 8 hours a night and go to bed around the same time every day, and wake up at the same time every day. The hours of 10pm-2am are the most important, so we recommend scheduling your sleep to have you out during those hours.
We will have weekly check-in meetings to help with accountability, answer any questions, etc. These are not mandatory but encouraged.
