Patient Financial Policy

Payment Policy:

True You Medical accepts Health Savings Plans (HSAs), as well as all major credit cards and cash. Fees are due in full at the time of service.

Insurance:

Naturopathic doctors in the state of California are not able to bill Medicare or Medi-Cal.

Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance provider. True You Medical, nor any of its providers, are not third parties to your insurance policy. True You Medical does not subscribe to any insurance networks, as insurance billing can be up to 40 percent of a medical office’s overhead. Our team has chosen to dedicate that time and effort towards caring for our patients. We thank you for taking the responsibility to manage your relationship with your insurance provider directly.

Scheduled Appointments:

All appointments are billed half of the rate of service if canceled within 24 business hours of the time of the appointment. In the event that an IV therapy appointment is canceled, the full cost of the IV will be billed unless 24 hours advance notice is provided. Please notify staff via phone at 760-340-0013 if you need to change an appointment.

Late Arrivals:
Please be advised that we do our best to accommodate for extenuating circumstances. However, arriving late for your appointment can disrupt your practitioner’s schedule of subsequent appointments. If you arrive late for your appointment, you will still be charged in full for your appointment and may have less time for your appointment.
